Production Project Specialist
JOB TITLE: Production Project Specialist Classification:

WORK HOURS FOR POSITION: 40+
JOB CONDITIONS (i.e. Available for overtime, lifting, etc.):
1. Available for overtime, evening, weekends
2. Lift and move a 40lb box of copier paper
JOB SUMMARY: According to the vision and strategy of Eastside Baptist Church, the Production Project Coordinator works closely with the Communications and Media Pastor to ensure all media projects are produced on-time, within budget, and error-free. This position requires a person who is both creative and detail-oriented to ensure all EBC media projects are delivered with excellence.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Project Management
a. Manage the Production Calendar maximizing the use of all resources and minimizing scheduling conflicts. Coordinate with the Ministry and Facilities teams for all community events.
b. Work with the Worship Team and the Communications and Media Pastor to effectively understand the vision and goals for production.
c. Ensure all values and objectives related to each production are supported and executed with excellence.
d. Create clear rules of engagement and roles and responsibilities across resources which may come from a variety of sources: staff, volunteers, school personnel, etc.
e. Participate in post-production meetings and ensure solutions are in place to address areas that need improvement to ensure a world-class production environment is achieved.
f. Leverage industry-approved Project Management tools and methods to bring all projects in on time and within budget.
g. Ensure budget exposures are brought to the attention of the Communications and Media Pastor.
h. Manage Communications Request Forms for all events.
i. Manage audio visual requirements for all events.
2. Graphics Design and Editing
a. Use Adobe Products, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and In-design to deliver creative, attention-getting visuals.
b. Be proficient in Pro-Presenter to create all worship venue presentations for Sundays and other events.
c. Ensure all EBC, ECS, EWP and other Eastside Ministries messaging is carefully edited and proofed and delivers a clear, concise message that is error-free. This includes materials on the web, sent in writing or e-mail, and used in presentation materials.
d. Use in-house processing tools to create and reproduce printed communications materials.
e. SKILLS/EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED (i.e. Bachelor’s Degree):
• Project Management expertise of 2+ years
• Graphic Design expertise of 2+ years
• Bachelor’s Degree
